Soft, smooth running, and less prone to shredding and thread breakage, Spotlite™ is a brilliant and dynamic thread that is great for anything from machine embroidery to decorative stitches and even quilting. Unlike other metallic threads that are prone to breaking or shredding, Spotlite™ is quality built for a strong, even stitch and will even run up to 800 spm on domestic sewing machines and embroidery machines.
The rayon core of this metallic thread means that the thread has zero stretch to it, which greatly reduces breakage issues. Many polyester core metallics on the market will stretch around the bends in the sewing machine’s thread path, which is what will cause these issues most of the time. This quality metallic ensures you’ll have the best metallic thread experience for your projects, whether you choose to use it in machine embroidery, decorative quilting, or even thread painting.
